Dys / U ? is an imaginary space, created without actual land, to obliterate the definitions of terrain, state, authority, the existence of cultures and traditions which form dominant social precepts. Dys / U ? is a made-up situation where the audience become the Creator and the owner of the space (country, state, island) designing its shape, territory, and its ideal state. Thus, this artwork gives the audience the power to take part in the art process in order to create frictions against dominant social power in several dimensions. These frictions lead ways for us to become aware of the world we are living in, to criticize it, and to imagine about possible effects in the future.
